Since Domino 14.0 Domino OTS creates a Domino CA out of the box, because Admin Central leverages it.
But it only works if the server can reach itself at startup.
For a Domino container image the best way to configure name resolution is to specify a matching hostname.
Picking the right hostname makes sure the server can reach itself over a local address directly on container level independent from other network settings.
On Docker or Podman the host name is configured via --hostname domino.acme.com.
In the Domino container control (dominoctl) script the setting is CONTAINER_HOSTNAME.
