We got questions about this from many customers and there is a technote on the way.The following link already provides the good news we are waiting for.

Platform Notices
- Windows 2012 R2 is now supported with Domino 9.0.1 Social Edition
- Macintosh OS X 10.9 is now supported with Notes 9.0.1 Social Edition. Known issues - see Supportability Q&A about IBM Notes and OS X 10.9.x
- Windows 8.1 is now supported with Notes 9.0.1 Social Edition with one known issue: HBJW9EB4R3: livetext in MIME email can not underline on Win 8.1 - 64 bit
- iNotes: For iNotes browser support, see Browser support for iNotes 9.0.1 which as of this writing added IE11 and FF26 with a co-req of iNotes 9.0.1 interim Fix 1
