iNotes with Firefox 15 and later

Firefox has removed support for signed scripts starting with Firefox 15, and several iNotes features use signed scripts.
There is a work-around in Domino 8.5.3 to use the older DHTML user interface instead.

This older implementation can be enabled via notes.ini setting on the Domino server via

set config iNotes_WA_FirefoxSignedScript=0
restart task http

We had a PMR open with IBM for a while and got no feedback.
There is a quite new Technote #1610926 published 26.10 that we found which describes this change.

Forget about the older technote that mentioned that you have to confirm that the signed script from IBM is allowed to run.
You will not get a prompt at all in Firefox 15 and the functionality to send mail and other parts will fail silently in iNotes full mode.
The only solution is to switch iNotes back to the compatibility mode via the mentioned notes.ini setting.
