    HCL Traveler 10.0.1 FP2 Released

    Daniel Nashed  20 September 2019 13:09:12
The first "HCL" Traveler updated has shipped.

This version contains updated APNS push certificates, because the current shipped cert expires mid of October.

Beside that fix there are a couple of other fixes which might be relevant for your environment.

Here is a list for all changes. There are no big surprises. But there also some backend changes for the updated Verse client which is coming soon.

Here is a technote for important changes with the upcoming first HCL Verse release.
They are changing the name of the application which is has some impact.

I got also questions about iOS 13 support. There are no known issues with Traveler 10.0.1.1 and 10.0.1.2.

HCL did only test those two versions. Earlier versions should still work but it is highly recommended to update!

Traveler 10.x is supported on Domino 9 and the installer detects the underlaying Domino version.
But it is still recommended to update to Domino 10.0.1 with a current fixpack (currently FP3).

The new Traveler 10.0.1.2 version is available on the HCL Flexnet Download portal.

    Here is a search link:

And here are the file-names and the SHA256 hashes.

I am currently looking a lot into those download options and filenames because of Docker and we are adding the new version to the software.txt file..

    Hi

just wanted to let you know the Traveler 10.0.1.2 is not available via IBM sites. IBM stops at 10.0.1.1 so guessing there's no backflow of updates from HCL to IBM. Have been trying to get via HCL Flexnet and I'm getting a "no downloadable files for this query" response. Not sure if this is a licensing issue with us as we have been having problems getting renewal from HCL or if maybe the package has been withdrawn.

    thanks

    K

So, just noticed my traveler was killin itself, i was on 10.0.1.0.

Just learnt that i can't download form IBM too, and HCL is taking its time to accept me for downloading software.

Can someone share with me the new p12 cert?

you can suposedly copy the files to:

Extract the zip-file and copy the three P12-files to your Traveler server: notes_data/traveler/cfg and restart your Traveler server

Just a follow up, was a licensing issue. Took from 1st August to 24 September to get a maintenance renewal quote out of HCL, took us less than a day to place an order and then took them another 3 weeks plus a support case for them to get around to activating product downloads on Flexnet

For Roberto if he comes back, if you unzip the download you only get an exe and a readme html file. I'm not sure but believe the p12 cert is built or assembled as part of the install and contains company and server specific details so copying to another server or business would lead to problems

    goodluck

    Hi Daniel

Our iphone Users stopped working the other day. I tried to get this fixpack from HCL and they said

Traveler has been included in the Enterprise Notes / Domino Package and separately in a Traveler Maintenance Package.

We are still in ongoing discussions with Offering Management to see if this can be added to the Express versions and ultimately all Domino Package versions.

Are you aware of this not being offered as standard for exisitng users
